McDade Insurance was built to change that.
We are an independent brokerage with access to multiple A-rated carriers. Every policy we write gets measured against four questions. Is the coverage clear? What is the probability of a loss? How severe would that loss be? Where is the real value for the client?
That framework is how we protect Houston homes, cars, and small businesses the right way.

Charles is a lifelong Houstonian and founder of McDade Insurance Brokerage Group. Fifteen years in the industry, six of them as a captive agent rising from intern to lead sales rep, taught him one thing. Most people carry insurance they do not understand, sold by people who never take the time to explain it. He built this agency to fix that.
His work has earned the 2025 Liberty Mutual/Safeco Emerging Leaders Agent of the Future Award, Travelers S.T.A.R Agency 2025, four Liberty Leader awards, and Countrywide Rookie of the Year. He serves as the first African American board member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Houston, sits on the board of NAAIA Greater Houston Foundation, and speaks nationally on hiring and the future of the independent agency, most recently at Insurance Soup Live, with an upcoming keynote at ITC Vegas 2026.
Charles graduated from Nicholls State University with a degree in Marketing & Professional Sales, where he lettered four years as a Division I football player. He lives in North Houston with his wife, Dr. Allison McDade, and their two children, Aaliyah and Charlie

David was born and raised in Friendswood, Texas and graduated from St. Mary's University in 2012 with a Bachelor's in International Relations. David has extensive knowledge of residential construction and insurance. He's taught large groups of volunteers how to build houses as a staff member with Habitat for Humanity, owned and operated his own handyman business, has several years experience in insurance sales, and is a licensed adjuster having handled thousands of residential insurance claims. David has a 2 year old son August, who is the light of his life.
