McDade Insurance Brokerage Group is a Houston independent insurance broker built around the life people have earned. Charles McDade, LUTCF, founded the agency to slow the insurance decision down because family and employers depend on the contract. We compare 50+ top Texas carriers we know well, read the limits, deductibles, exclusions, and endorsements, and help you protect the home, business, payroll, and people counting on you.

We respect your time and your data.

We respect your time and your data. One business day text-back. Zero spam. Zero phone trees.

Too many families are told to compare insurance like fruit. Apples to apples. Price to price. But the truth is, the contract is what shows up when life gets hard.

We have seen families unknowingly give up coverage, raise deductibles beyond what they could comfortably afford, or trust a policy that looked fine until the claim came. That is why we slow the decision down. Not to scare people. Not to sell harder. We protect the house, the business, the employees, the payroll, and the people counting on you to get it right.

At McDade, the goal is not to win the quote. The goal is to help you make the right decision before something goes wrong.

The McDade Worldview

Texas cannot control the loss. Texas can control the preparation.

The life you have earned deserves more than a price check. The work is the double-check before the loss, the renewal audit before the surprise, and the contract read before the claim. We translate the contract before claim time.

What you cannot control

  • The storm
  • The freeze
  • The hail
  • The wind
  • The fire
  • The flood
  • The cyber attack
  • The carrier rate increase

What you can double-check

  • The contract read
  • The limit audit
  • The exclusion review
  • The carrier selection
  • The deductible structure
  • The broker relationship
  • The renewal discipline
  • The claim documentation
The McDade Team

People first. Then process.

Google can read schema. Clients read people. The McDade homepage should show the licensed team behind the advice.

Meet the Team

Cyber risk is not new to the McDade family. It is part of the Houston story Charles grew up around.

Family Legacy

A Houston cyber lineage. Handled with restraint.

Charles McDade is the grandson of the late Douglas Finley, founder of Naknan Inc., a Houston Clear Lake and NASA corridor endpoint security and IT services firm founded in 1997.

Naknan Inc. was an 8(a) certified Small Disadvantaged Business and woman-owned by Noklek Finley. It is separate from McDade Insurance. The connection matters because it gives Charles a real family context for cyber risk, endpoint security, business continuity, and the cost of learning after the loss.

Advisory First

Local broker. National bench. Texas discipline.

The point is not to move every policy. The point is to know what the contract says, what the alternatives look like, and what decision fits the family or business.

01

Independent access

McDade works with 50+ top Texas carriers we know well through a national bench and a local Texas advisory lens.

02

Honest review

About 40 percent of the time we tell clients to stay with their current carrier, and sometimes even with their current agent, because that is the right answer for the family.

03

No personal lines broker fees

For personal lines clients, the McDade review is advisory and the brokerage does not charge a broker fee.

04

Contract-to-contracts standard

A household or business rarely has one policy. McDade reads the portfolio so the contracts make sense together.
